Dr Kristy Fraser-Kirk is a Queensland-born ENT surgeon specialising in all General ENT conditions of children and adults. After completing a Degree in Psychology at the University of Queensland, she completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honors. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and is a member of ENT’s governing body, ASOHNS. Internationally, Dr Fraser-Kirk has completed further sub-specialist training in the fields of Paediatric ENT, and Advanced Ear and Hearing Implant surgery, spending fifteen months undertaking advanced training at London’s Guys and St Thomas Hearing Implant Centre, and Evelina London Children’s Hospital.
Dr Fraser-Kirk is passionate about holistic healthcare, good communication and patient education. In addition to her commitment to technical excellence, she is dedicated to improving the health of her community. She works in both the public and private health systems at the Sunshine Coast University, Sunshine Coast University Private and Kawana Private Hospitals. She has been the Director of the Sunshine Coast University ENT Department and previously of Nambour Hospital ENT Department, roles she has shared with Evolve colleagues Dr David Hogan and Dr Ben McArdle.
